The Overcome! program is an affordable, evidence-based resilience series developed by Genevieve Yellen of Sundara Yoga Therapy. Overcome! is researched in conjunction with Dr. Keri Heilman of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Dr. Stephen Porges of Indiana University and UNCSM. Dr. Porges is a leading researcher and founder of The Traumatic Stress Research Consortium and developer of the Polyvagal Theory. Over the past two decades, thousands of people across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico have already found relief from anxiety, stress, and trauma with the guidance of skilled facilitators of the Overcome! program. 

​What to expect: 
  • Four 45 minute virtual sessions 
  • I will lead you through the sessions with powerful visual aids and workbook material.
  • Utilize tracking sheets on your dashboard to track your progress
  • One-year access to student dashboard that includes videos, workbook material, tracking sheets, and much more! 
  • All work is private. 

What you will learn: 
  • Make calm and clear choices that support your wellbeing. 
  • Overcome! will introduce you to a neuropsychological explanation of triggers and the process of reprogramming your reactions
  • Connect to your inner power daily with practices like breath work, meditation, mantra, and movement techniques that support your wellbeing

What this program requires from you: 
  • A daily commitment to practicing the exercises to get the most out of Overcome! – although it is not a quick fix, you will immediately learn ways to feel better.
  • Virtual sessions will meet on Zoom. You can create and download a free Zoom account on their website.  
  • Online group participants may choose to remain anonymous with other group members. 

After signing up you'll receive two e-mails from me containing forms, your dashboard instructions, and workbook materials.  

This program is not a replacement for therapy or medications. I provide resources for mental health professionals upon request. Always seek advice from a mental health professional or a qualified healthcare provider with questions that you may have about your health.
