WHO I AM....
I've spent nearly 20 years of my life immersed in yoga and meditation. My approach to yoga is based on evidence-based care and is applicable in everyday life. I have a deep respect for the yoga tradition that is not part of my heritage, as well as a curiosity for the practices that have transformed my own life.
My teaching background ranges from studio ownership to facilitating small group yoga therapy in correctional facilities and domestic violence shelters. I've trained over 250 yoga teachers at the 200-hour and 500-hour levels during this time. I offer iRest meditation, yoga therapy, and Overcome clinics both virtually and in person. I enjoy assisting my clients in discovering how to improve their lives in meaningful ways by practicing yoga on a daily basis. When I'm not practicing or teaching, I'm spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy strength training and going for long walks. My favorite pastime, on the other hand, is napping. I'm an active volunteer in my community, at my children's school, and at my church. |
